Deer Hunts

We offer do-it-yourself deer hunts in the vast North Maine Woods.  This is big woods hunting at its absolute finest.  Although there are low deer densities in this area, there are monster bucks to be taken.  The term Big Buck Country is no exaggeration when we talk about the Allagash region.  The biggest bucks in Maine roam these woods, with many 200+ pound deer shot every year and Buckstop Camps is in prime hunting country.  Hunters come back year after year for a chance at the huge bucks in the Allagash region. 

Do-it-yourself hunts include room and board and you provide the rest.  We will point you in the right direction and recommend areas that you should hunt.  Come give Allagash a try, although you may not see many deer, you may get a shot at the buck of a lifetime!
